Meet Sue

Hi, I’m Sue Anderson and I’ve been with sunshine.co.uk for just under two years, I started out writing and updating the content for the website – reviewing and inputting hotel information ensuring the site contained accurate and up to date data. I have recently moved over to the team responsible for social networking including this very blog, our new weekly(-ish) newsletter, facebook and twitter, where we aim to help with tips and ideas for your holiday.

I’ve previously worked for the well known high street travel agent Thomas Cook, also Trailfinders the specialists in worldwide tailor-made travel. I also spent over seven years with an independent tour operator specialising in trips to the United States and Indonesia.

Having spent so many years within the travel industry (far too many to mention), I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy the benefits and opportunities of visiting many different holiday destinations, including my personal favourite Thailand, as well as Singapore, Bali, safari in South Africa and sunning in the Caribbean. I’ve also taken in New York, Los Angeles and Florida during my many visits to the States. Since my youth Europe has been a regular choice, taking in many of the popular city breaks and beach resorts.

It’s now been a while since I’ve travelled beyond Europe, as ironically I have a partner with a severe fear of flying and coupled with the arrival of our son, makes any flight an endurance test! I one day look forward to taking my family back to some of the places I have enjoyed, particularly Asia and Africa (after all the necessary hypnosis and medication of course).

I hope you’ve enjoyed reading our blog posts so far, if there’s anything in particular you’d like me to write about please let me know!

    Hi Sue
Well… there’s an interesting niche interest content opportunity… information about using hypnosis to conquer fear of flying! I’m fine with planes, but really bad with heights to the point where I now find skiing holidays a real problem – (ie high chair lifts scare me silly). I’ve often wondered if hypnosis would cure the problem… which has definitely worsened as I’ve got older

Hi Jeremy, thanks for taking the time to read about me, sorry to hear about your fear of heights, I hope you still manage to go skiing! I would definitely recommend hypnosis, after just one session my partner was able to look out of the plane window and enjoy the view (something he avoided before), it was great to see him relaxed for once.
