Proposed Spanish Airport Strikes

Not good news for British holidaymakers

Spanish Airport ground staff are proposing industrial action for 22 days starting in April and continuing until August.

The strikes may not go ahead, but any planned strikes will not be made known to most airlines/travel agents, until 24 hours before the proposed date of the strike.

The proposed dates are as follows:

  • AprilĀ  – 20th 21st, 24th, 25th and 30th
  • May – 2nd, 14th, 15th, 19th and 20th
  • June – 13th, 23rd and 30th
  • July – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 15th and 31st
  • August – 1st, 15th and 31st

If your flight is cancelled because of the strike, we will contact you as soon as we hear anything, but we advise you to keep checking with the airlines websites as well, in case you are flying out of our office hours.

Any further information regarding the strikes will be emailed to you as soon as we are made aware.
